Muslim Market — Halal Food Store (Telegram Mini App)

for Muslim market

Replaced manual order-taking over chat with a self-serve store — customers browse, configure, and pay without the owner needing to respond to each message individually.

Muslim Market is a halal food shop in Gwangju serving the local Central Asian and Muslim community. Before this project, orders came in through scattered Telegram messages — customers had to ask what’s available, wait for a reply, and sort out payment separately. The owner needed a real storefront, but one that worked inside Telegram where their customers already were. I built a full e-commerce Mini App that opens directly inside the Telegram bot. Customers browse a product grid, filter by category (meat, poultry, vegetables, dairy, rice and grains), search across four languages, pick options like cut or portion size, and place an order in under a minute. At checkout they share their live Telegram location or type a written address compatible with Naver and KakaoMap. Payment is by bank transfer; the account number appears on screen with a one-tap copy button, and customers tap “I’ve paid” to notify the shop. The admin panel lives inside the same Mini App, gated by Telegram user ID. The owner sees a live dashboard — today’s orders, revenue, what needs attention — and manages the full product catalogue from their phone: prices, discounts, stock levels, option groups, photos, and bulk actions. Orders move through a pipeline (new → confirmed → delivering → completed) with one tap, and the customer gets a Telegram notification at each step. The owner can also message any customer directly through the bot, export order reports as CSV, and broadcast announcements to all users. The app runs 24/7 on a VPS alongside another bot, with automatic nightly database backups delivered to the owner’s Telegram.
